“Basic Instinct” Sails to Gold

With Olympic fever in the air, Muscle Milk/Molecule MEGA Athlete, Memo Gidley, and his Basic Instinct crew took the gold and top honors in the Wednesday night RYC series race this past Wednesday night in the San Francisco Bay.  Racing in the competitive over 29ft non-spinnaker class, Gidley and his crew of seven had really only one small hiccup as they steered towards the start line to take the gun.

This past weekend, Round #4 of the DJSA Outlaw weekends two day “Jet Effect”, saw two Gidleys going for the gold. Gidley #1… Muscle Milk/Molecule MEGA athlete Memo Gidley, and Gidley #2, daughter and first time jet ski racer Rachel Gidley. This weekend’s event was the seven year anniversary of the DJSA Outlaw Series…and the anticipation from competitors was intense.

Gidley conquers DJSA “Widow Maker”

The DJSA Outlaw Jet Ski Series held Round #3 this past weekend on the beautiful downtown water front of Suisun, CA. As tranquil and nice as the location, the event is nicknamed the “Widow Maker” because it is not only the shortest course they run due to limited space, but the entire course is surrounded by concrete walls…some less than teen feet from the turns, which have been known to create havoc for the racers.

Basic Instinct Muscles to 5th Place

This past Wednesday night, Memo Gidley and the Muscle Milk crew were busy trying to tame the wild waters of the San Francisco Bay during the RYC series race in Richmond, CA, and came away with a fifth in class.
