Muscle Milk Pickett Racing Adds Hamilton to PC Lineup

Muscle Milk Pickett Racing will be making a change to its driver lineup for the American Le Mans Series round at Laguna Seca next month with Archie Hamilton coming on board to co-drive the team’s #5 Muscle Milk / Molecule PC car. Roger Wills was originally slated as the third driver for the May 12 race, but another commitment has him unable to attend the six-hour event. Hamilton will be teaming up with regular drivers Mike Guasch and Memo Gidley.

Muscle Milk Pickett Racing with drivers Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr wrote a piece of history today by becoming the first to post overall victories in consecutive years at Long Beach with an impressive win in the second round of the American Le Mans Series. The team also added to its history by scoring its first double podium finish in the American Le Mans Series with an impressive second place by Memo Gidley and Mike Guasch in the PC class.

Rain washes out LBGP qualifying

Mother Nature played a major role today in Long Beach with heavy rain cancelling the American Le Mans Series qualifying session. Due to the cancellation, the starting grid has been determined by the points standings, meaning the Muscle Milk Pickett Racing P1 squad of Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf will start second overall with the PC team of Memo Gidley and Mike Guasch starting fifth in the PC class.

Battling Back in Long Beach

Muscle Milk Pickett Racing is hoping to make history this weekend on the streets of Long Beach, as it looks to bounce back from what was a bittersweet season opening race last month at Sebring. April 7, 2012 (Novato, CA) Last Saturday, Muscle Milk/Molecule MEGA athlete, Memo Gidley, added another chapter to his vast and varied racing career by finishing 7th in class in the Single Handed Sailing Society Corinthian fourteen mile sailboat race on the San Francisco Bay. This was Gidley’s first race as skipper of the New Zealand built Elliott 35ft “Basic Instinct” sailboat from Sausalito, CA.
